Illinois Roofing Exam
Don't Try This At Home!
Don't try this at home! We've had people who've bought the books, or who took an inexpensive course with the state of Illinois' recommended reading list, who then spent weeks and months reading and studying online, only to find that they didn't pass! The books are expensive, over $2000! You do have a choice. Join us for a quick 3 or 4 day class, utilize our condensed Powerpoint slide books, as well as our quizzes and practice exams, and pass with ease! We started the Illinois Roofing Exam prep business more than a decade ago, and since then there have been "competitors." But no one does a 3 or 4 day class better, at an even better price! Check out our Google reviews below!
Do I need a roofing license?
You do. Illinois law requires any roofing contractor engaged in construction, reconstruction, alteration, maintenance, repair, or waterproofing of roofs to be a licensed roofing contractor. What is the penalty for working without an Illinois roofing license? The fine can be as high as $5,000 per offense. The State of Illinois also requires that your roofing license number appears on all contracts, bid proposals, permits, commercial vehicles, and websites.
Do I need a training course for the roofing exam?
“We teach to the test”
It’s a hard test, and many have failed multiple times prior to taking our exam preparation roofing classes at Contractors Network and Training Center in Chicago. Not to mention the $1,000 you can spend on reference books, along with the weeks or months you’ll spend studying. With our 3 or 4-day roofing contractor course, you’ll receive a distilled study guide, along with PowerPoint notes. You’ll also take daily quizzes and in-class practice roofing exams that provide instant feedback as to what you should study. In other words, we “teach to the test.”
